Prize winners are responsible for any and all additional costs, including but not limited to the cost of airfare or other transportation to and from the Grand Prize destination, and any other incidental costs incurred by prize winners.
The potential prize winners will be randomly selected on October 30, 2015 at half time of the UNM Women’s Soccer home game against San Diego State. Winners will be drawn from all valid entries received during the Raffle Period. Winner does not need to be present to win. The number of Mexican Resort Certificates awarded will be determined by the number of raffle tickets sold. For example, if by October 30, 2015, only 500 raffle tickets have been sold, 100 Mexican Resort Certificates will be awarded. If, however, 1,000 raffle tickets have been sold, all 200 Mexican Resort Certificates will be awarded. If the winner is not present, he/she will be notified within fourteen (14) calendar days of the drawing date via email, phone or certified mail according to the contact information as provided by prize winner. The drawing process will utilize a random number generator to select each prize winner from a list of all entries. If for any reason the prize winner(s) cannot be reached after reasonable attempts have been made, in the sole discretion of UNM, the prizes will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing among remaining eligible entries. Entrants have a 20% chance of winning.
By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to all decisions of UNM, which are final and legally binding in all respects, and further agree that the Certificates are awarded upon the condition that the entrants hereby expressly agree that UNM, its regents, employees and agents, officers, shall have no liability whatsoever and shall be held harmless for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Certificates or the participation in the Raffle.
Any entrant who attempts to participate with multiple e_mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter the raffle in violation of these Official Rules may be disqualified by UNM in its sole discretion. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents will void all entries made by, or associated with, the applicable entrant. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, the authorized subscriber of the e_mail account provided in connection with the entry, as of the actual time of entry, will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account subscriber” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e_mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, education, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e_mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e_mail address. A selected or potential winning “authorized account subscriber” may be required to provide UNM with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e_mail address associated with the applicable entry. UNM is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, incorrect, delayed, garbled, undelivered, or misdirected, entries. UNM will not confirm receipt of entries.
By accepting the Certificate, prize winners agree that UNM may use such prize winner's name, likeness or photograph, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration or payment, to the extent permitted by law. The Certificate(s) are not transferable. No cash or other substitutions allowed except at UNM’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. UNM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any of the advertised Certificates become unavailable.
UNM’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Should any provision of these Official Rules be deemed unenforceable or invalid, the other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect. In the event that the Raffle is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority (including but not limited to any federal or provincial or state governmental authority), UNM reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Raffle, as applicable, or to disqualify any Raffle entrants residing in any affected geographic areas, as applicable.
